Well....they won't get lost or rusty spun back in the hub either, we always run them back in
That depends. The threaded part that sticks through always seems to catch mud or tall weeds or the pressure washer and soon enough they start to rust. Lost one tapered head lug bolt many many years ago, highly possible it wasnt torqued into the hub tight enough since torquing a tapered head into the casting could distort the threads, and was gone when we went to put the duals back on.
Will either way work, yes. Which way a person has better luck can vary. |
