| Had a late model F150 come into the shop for an oil change. Lady had come straight from work and raised it up on the hoist to use the drain with the big splash pan. This is one of the Fords with the plastic quarter turn plastic plug which opens, near as I can tell, a 4 inch hole draining 17 gallons of molten black lava. This torrent hit the splash pan, ricocheted off, all over the passenger tire, right suspension, me, my assistant and floor. Nothing to do but watch it happen and clean up the mess.
I hope there is a special place in hell for engineers who do this kind of stuff.
