I was told a story about a milk hauler that would carry his oil and filters in his truck.
When time to change oil and he was ahead of schedule he would just pull across a ditch on a back road, pull the plug and change oil. He would even let the old filter lay in the ditch.
Sometimes I think just buy an extra bag of oil dry.
