Looked back on rain totals from 2011-2012 and we are dryer than that time frame here. We had good moisture in 2011 so would have had a good profile to start with in 2012. The spring of 2012 we had 1.50 in April, 7.25 in May which one rain caused a lot of replanting. June turned dryer with only an inch but we were still ok until the heat came end of June and the rest of the summer. July was a zero and August and September had about an inch but the heat killed us that year. This spring with no profile we had .20 in April and 2.40 in May which came early in the month. Dryland corn showing big areas of stress now and going backwards but we have a couple of chances for rain so will see.
