Subject: Spraying fungicides in a dry year to help conserve soil moisture?

N.W. Ohio
Does anyone have experience using fungicides on a dry year to help the plant lower transpiration rates and conserve soil moisture?

Probably a crazy thought but have heard it’s suppose to help.
