Buy trailer cheap, cut that hitch off and replace with a standard G/N hitch. Only good about them is the ability to hand crank adjustment of height of hitch. They are ok for hooking up to if you had the old plate and ball in back of pickup bed. But if you have flatbed with recessed ball under a flip cover it's a real pain to hook up.

Also if you every get stuck off road and need to unhook and rehook up at a side angle to pull trailer out they are a pain. Also the square tube G/N hitches that have adjustable hand crank over time get to banging and rattling vs a round tube hitch. Also have had those adjustment threaded rod wear out just from travel and time. Have to cut them out and replace hitch. Round tube hitches last longer.
