I have a 2500, 2018. have a large rollout toolbox and weigh in at about 9,800-10,400 depending on fuel and tools. I have air bags and thus far have been satisfied. I think I have so much weight I don't notice any rolling or such with a gooseneck hooked up. Thinking of moving out of this one and into a 3500 single rear wheel, with air again. the 3500 is very similar, but I assume has a bit higher pressure setting in the bag system. Find I spend most of my time with it in the 2" lower setting for trailer pulling - as that makes it easier to get stuff in and out of the bed. If I have a heavy load on the gooseneck, I'll start at the "normal" setting, then dolly the gooseneck down to cheat the system a bit, as it will only air up to a certain psi - then cuts out. The system is not the same as a semi where it will keep feeding the bags till it reaches back to desired height.
