Eastern Shore of MD | Edit. Here on Delmarva we generally have a slight local negative basis on beans this time of year - but I just checked and local basis at the main location is a plus $1.60 which is nearly unheard of so maybe they can not source the needed beans. Harvest basis is typically -$.45 at that location so a basis spread of $2.05 from old to new crop WOW!
A couple other local players are actively exporting soybeans..... hmmm - lots of moving parts. These would be whole beans not meal.
