Southeast WI | Not terribly uncommon I guess. Had them a few times in college sitting in a lecture hall and the room went hazy white and scared the heck out of me! Didn't occur again till maybe in my mid 40's. I record when they happen and other than a bright light flash or over tired nothing seems to be a commonality. Usually last 20 min to a half hour and then if I sneeze I noticed I have a headache type pain. Usually just close my eyes for awhile and let it pass. I'll go a month or two without and then might happen 3-4 times in 10-12 days.
