central illinois | Are you sure about that palm ? Just because river traffic has been slow doesn’t mean there was no demand… this might be backyard mentality but I know of several big elevators/terminals around here that are empty … and I don’t think that has happened in my 25 years of farming … the grain went somewhere… and wish interest rates up I highly doubt people are separating from their cash to buy grain because they are speculative on physical grain and like storing it … trucks still running moving grain here steady … who’s using it where is it going ? And when will the other larger elevators around be empty? Sooner than later I suspect and likey before harvest ramps up | |
