That’s quickly self defeating however. Artificially lowering the price by manipulating S&D means higher demand and lower incentive to increase production. Somewhere a reset to supply and demand has to be done otherwise that number manipulation can only be done once. It’s also cumulative.

Which years were the resets or the ones where production was understated and/or demand was overstated to rebalance S&D?


I don’t know which years because I don’t follow their made up numbers long term knowing they are subject to change at any time to suit their purposes. I do pay attention to current releases of made up numbers because it directly impacts my business.
I agree some years production is understated.
I advocate for and prefer free unmanipulated markets and do not fear them as many do.
