If there is moisture there, yes….

Problem I’m having is it’s so dry in the top that the roots aren’t taking in the needed nutrients. A two inch rain will snap it right back on track though.

Pic from Sunday. The right plant is Pioneer 0924 for silage on multi year manure ground but was worked heavily (fall chisel before dragline, dragline, fall chisel to level ruts only where ruts were present, spring cultivator prior to planting). The left is 5427 LG (95 day grain corn) in fall VT’d ground that had fall applied commercial after soybeans, no tillage this spring.
