South Central Illinois | Seems like it’s better to plant soybeans on 30 inch rows between the Cornstalk rows.
15 inch rows are problematic because part of the soybeans are always planted on top of corn rows.
1) Could use the old vacuum 16 row corn planter.
Corn stalks are a bit of a problem in the drive chains on the older Planter.
2) Could use the newer 16 row corn planter with electric drives.
Will the electric drives plant soybeans?
What changes do I need to do to plant soybeans with the Electric drives?
Maybe just put the old boxes and meters on to the plant soybeans with?
I could run Fertilizer near the rows with the newer Planter. | |
