Here is a picture of the Palouse Hills near Colfax Washington. There are no row crops grown in this area, it is almost all cropped to wheat, barley, and various pulse crops like peas, lentils, and garbanzo beans.
Is that a real picture? It is awesome. It looks like someone painted it. That is unbelievable.
