Melancthon, Ontario | "Here" all bets are off as farming has nothing to do with the price of our land. We have developers speculating, wealthy immagrents looking to own land, and a large group of people who will own a farm no matter the cost but build whatever factory it takes to pay for it. And add the large well established operations in the mix and its getting to be a tall order to even find one for sale. Land has gone up by a factor of 8 in the last decade, there will have to be a full on depression to make them go backwards. | |
