Yes, you can reuse it, done it many times. Gates 4 and 6 wire fittings are 2 piece unlike the 2 wire megacrimp. You can carefully cut the ferrel away from the fitting, get the old hose off, might have to cut it as well, and all you need is new hose and a new ferrel. The fitting has a "groove" that the ferrel crimps into. I'll try and post a few pics as soon as I get around one.
