Subject: RE: Challenger MT665B Problem

I lost the jack bolt but it is for backing the park brake off for moving a dead tractor. I carry a claw hammer. Put it behind the nut part where the bolt screws into and push down on the handle. It just takes a little push to get started then it releases on its own. Yes grease the cross shaft religiously. Both ends. Lighter grease is a plus. Ours would do it if it spent the night out in the rain. There is a magnetic disk that gets close to a sensor when the park is released. It can get damaged and not read correctly. It is in the area of the rest of the mechanism on the left side.
PS turn the wheels tight or turn them till they dig a hole so you don't get run over when park is released.
