South cental Ohio | You should be able to bale with 1 swath raked but you have to go in a clockwise direction for the clearance. In other words, you can't just take random windrows and go.... unless you move the bales before hand. Bale size, you should probably make yours a little longer. As for hauling, we don't haul very far so we get buy with not strapping the load down. 20 foot wagons with a backboard , bottom layer gets put on "loosely" and keep tightening the stacks up against the back rack as you go up , creating a pyramid effect on the front. 4 layers of 30= 120 plus you can easily get 2 more sets on the top making 150 bales and no tie downs. This is what WE do. | |
