Coles County, Illinois | I sprayed for years with a 650 gallon tank 60' boom behind a 6420. Friend had a 1200 gallon 90' behind his 6420. I also plant with my 6420. When my herbicide program got to where I needed to be planting and spraying at the same time I chose to get a longer wheelbase tractor to spray with (7330). The longer wheelbase allows for faster spray speeds because of a better ride.
Another thing desirable in a spray tractor is fast transport speeds. My 7330 has a 20 speed and will go 26mph if I want it to.
An alternative to the 7330 I considered was a 7800 with a 19 speed P.S. MFWD was the deal breaker on the 7800 as around here they're rare. I wanted this tractor to pull 900 bu wagon loads out of the fields and MFWD gets you rolling when a 2WD will spin out.
