Subject: RE: Y drops

Northeast Indiana
I'll be the odd man out and say the weight of the ydrop unit is a good thing. It adds stability to the system and increasing accuracy of placement with higher speeds and larger plants. Had a set of CR Supply ydrops, and while they were ok, the 360 ydrops are much better. Considered EZ drops when we purchased the 360 set, they look to be a pretty good setup as well, but for every row, not much different in cost to the 360 set. We leave the sub boom on year around and just remove the actual drops.
