lake Michigan shore line/Mason county | Please remember those men who served, did things they almost never spoke about in public, and didnt come home the same as they were before their service. I had an Older Brother ED, who did 2 tours. Was wounded 3 times, but did make it home. He left a polite easy going farm kid. His first day of combat was on his 21st birthday. He never was able to sleep in the dark even after 40 years home. Agent orange was sprayed on him while he was on patrol. He, like many soldiers died from that chemical. He did last 40 years home, but died from his service. These men gave their all, they just didnt die there. Many men made it back, but the war still came and took them anyways. I say a special thank you to any man who was in combat. It is like being in Hell, in the biggest, darkest way. God Bless our troops, past and present. |
