So last year seed spacing was an issue on just 3 rows. Took those three and had them run on a test stand at the JD dealer. Came back fine but just 96% accurate
Decided to rebuild all the rows for consistency on enitire planter
Planted this year and did not see any issue with the monitor showing a problem but when the corn came up, saw the same problem with the same rows.
I am thinking possible cable drive issue, bad cable causing un-smooth operation, causing erratic spacing
Any ideas
96% on a test stand with esets.. Id say you have a problem.. I have 97% singulation on rough rocky ground, and 99 to 100% on smooth fields.. e sets are simple, if nothing wrong with the meters look at seed tube very very closely as some others have stated |
