East of Broken Bow | I bought a manure spreader that has 20 inch truck tires on it right now, on what look like standard 8 bolt implement hubs. Considering that 20 inch tires are getting hard to find, and 22.5s are literally all over the place, does anyone know where I can find reasonably priced 8 hole implement 22.5 rims rated to carry a decent load. I can find pivot wheels, but they look awfully flimsy compared to the wheels that are there right now, and my tire guy says that he wouldn't trust a pivot wheel to carry that much weight.
Alternatively, would it be possible to have my wheel centers welded onto existing truck rims, or would that be risky, as well?
I have found rims, but at $400 or so each, but for that price I just as well get a couple military surplus 20 inch tires. | |
