“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Oh yes Jeff, I was never so mad when I walked out of an arbitration meeting with Forest Service and Western Watersheds. We had filed for intervener status on behalf of Forest Service and hired an attorney. We came to terms and after meeting our attorney and Western Watersheds attorney went to supper together. I knew right then we had all been played.
The only saving grace was the DOJ attorney wasn't even smart enough to tie his own shoe laces and wore a clip on tie. He was a total disgrace to the DOJ. Talk about a third string attorney! Our attorney at the time had been recommended for judgeship in Supreme court. I thought he was on our side, at the end of the day. Only thing he believed in was his pocketbook. I still despise him when I run into him quite regularly. |
