We find sorghum/Sudan get along really well with Red clover, have been doing it for 15+ years, 26-30lbs/ac s/s and 15-16lbs/ac red clover, on a good year clover will be 24”+ tall at second cut. Only problem is it’s hard to control the weeds because just about anything you can spray s/s with kills the clover. This allows us to then cut red clover the following year for wrapped feed and then combine the seed off in the fall.
