The precision ag thing that absolutely pays out the quickest “here” is autoswath section control on the planter. With how many sloughs we have on any given year, and how expensive seed is, it’s a no brained. Now if you farm in the RRV, then I don’t really see how it could pay for itself.
Absolutely. Plugged several tractors from a standard monitor into advanced seed monitoring after they had it dialed in with the standard monitor. In every situation the advanced seed monitoring was saving an easy two to four percent in seed cost. Then when you bring in whatever level of swath control the savings go up from there.
