If you want to see how deep the phone is embedded and can hablo un poco espanol - try just speech first in a phone or face to face conversation. Try youtube later and see if any advertisements are in Spanish. I can't recall if that was enough or if I had to text some broken spanish to get the youtube to pitch ads in another language.
