MT-ND | Glasgow isn't really that isolated, not with a reservation town every 7 miles to the west. The reservation is more isolated.
I'd be worried about NW SD, there you can go for hours and not see anything, not a farm, not a ranch, not a town, not even a power pole or pole light.
That being said, both are long and boring trips. What happened that west of the ND line and south of the NP tracks all development basically quit a hundred years ago? | |
