Most phone's GPS are supposedly accurate within about 30'.
Some people have better luck than that, usually within a few feet.
Apps to use have been discussed several times in the last few years, your best bet is either to wait for a reply from someone else or search Google on this site and see what you can find.
The search function here only goes back a year unfortunately. A Google search using this site will get you back much further in time.
