Is dryland corn evenly dispersed across KS? Or are those acres heavily acres the NE and N districts? The 215 doesn’t hold when it’s more like 2 acres making up for your 1 dryland acre.

Edit: only 4.44 million acres were harvested for grain. Taking out the irrigated acres means most of the dryland was NE and N

in Kansas the northeast counties are big.. but so too are the northwest and somewhat the southeast.. yes both probably did better than ours.. but over 100???

Again from 2021.. the northwest average yields by county are pulled down by the 2x dryland corn acres in the northwest.. Southwest Ks is 67% irrigated or more.. thus higher average county yields..

the revisions are coming.. and it’s gonna be big.. 100 million or more?

Our whole farm average yield was down by 60 bushels.. and we were mostly irrigated.. far worse in the more dryland dependent areas.. this report was “only” down 24 bushels..
