All my life the story of the worst drought here was 1954. Everybody tells of it being so dry and then one day in late July a hot wind came up and all the corn turned white. I'm a '56 model and my worst one was 1983. Like you said about the I states 10 miles north of me they called '83 a mini drought. I sure like your scenery out there but I don't envy your weather. Nothing more frustrating than dry weather.
