Texas | I get it. Kids crap is ridiculous. Mine are 5 and 7 and my 7 year old got benched at “machine pitch” last week because the coach changed practice to mondays and his great grandma (92) picks him up from school on Monday. They go feed her cows and she teaches them to drive!, cook, paint and stuff. He chose to go with her instead of baseball practice. I was really proud of that! But we’re already getting busier with that crap that we said we would get.
My wife has probably several hundred friends on Facebook. That means everyday someone has a new car , remodeled home, or went on vacation. Next week mine will forget that I’ve been home at 5 every day this week since it’s too wet to cut wheat and I got her a new cloths washer today after a work meeting in the city.
