C IL | The CRISPR side has something to do with shortening that pipeline because you get what you want from the model right away, not 6 generations from now. So the field of actually tested candidates is bigger because you don’t spend time making crosses on the back end to get to where you want to go.
I have a fairly superficial understanding of genetics that stopped somewhere around a basic Punnett square.
