It will let companies use more of their germplasm base for making gm crops, but once you are able to use a little bit of deserted material are you going to see gains for more than a few years? Crispr uses a bacteria gene editing mechanism to splice and insert/delete genes. It is used to insert trait stacks more precisely than before. | |
