Subject: RE: Workers comp.

SW Ohio
I have been here. I fought and fought the idea of getting a lawyer, as that isn’t my mentality either. I spent a lot of time trying to reason with those people, at the end of the day they really are not there to try to help you. I finally caved and got a lawyer after they kept denying a procedure my surgeon told me I needed. It was approved within a week… I don’t think workman’s comp was necessarily trying to get out of anything, they just don’t try to help you get the language right so the process is smooth, nor do they tell you the ways they can help and your rights. I would highly recommend getting a lawyer. I would be glad to talk further if you want, my email is good. Also, do not pay anything out of pocket. You might need to become numb to the scary verbage, but it will be much harder (if not impossible) to be reimbursed than get them to pay directly.
