Same issues here, conventional till and some no-till also, sulfur applied 2 out of 3 years on silty clay loam soils. Have seven hybrids. Mine really started to darken between v6 and v7. Usually happens earlier, was thinking cool and dry soils. Have had well below normal rainfall since beginning of year.
