I have a 30 acre field that was soybeans for 3 years. Planted rye last fall but thinking it has issues with herbicide carry over. Not looking the greatest. Really dry last summer so guessing it was fall when damage happened. Lots of snow over winter but pretty dry again.
So should I terminate rye and plant corn? Have some 73 day I could put in there. Then top dress 20 acres of the field and leave 12 row strips of no nitrogen and spray envita on it to see what it can do? Was already given some envita to sample. What do you all think or any other things I should try? Thanks
Would be really worried about putting no N on right away if there is Rye growing in it, the rye has sucked all the N up and gonna be tied up in it breaking it down for awhile... But I am all for good testing |
