EC Nebraska | Normally a little dry weather this time of year would be great to make crops root down. Only problem is in my area here in eastern Nebraska we have no moisture for the corn to go after. Talked with a guy that does dirt work and says after the top 6-8 inches not much there to be had. We did receive some rain last week which was much needed but it also cause some to have to replant do to washouts and crusted soil. We were dry then some got 2-4.5 inches in 30-45 minutes just came to fast. Going to start the pivots today, not looking to put a lot on just help with some nh3 burn that we have. | |
