Subject: RE: How do you Load CIH 1200 Planter Control onto a UD+ ?

TX Panhandle
I went through this 2 years ago with a new to me PT planter.

I had a pro700 in my tractor that the guidance guy from my dealership told me would run any case planter. I bought a 2003 model PT and had the same trouble you had. Previous owner told me he used the pro700 out of his cotton picker but had to change software. The store manager did a bunch of research since my UD+ was bad apparently and ended up with a Pro600 and a universal tractor harness to use the planter. Also was told it had to be a certain age of pro600 to use version 28 and be able to run my planter with gold MIUs correctly. So far has been good to go.

I later bought another combine that was yield monitor ready and planned to use my planters pro600 in. When I went to get the combine loaded to it my dealer contact wouldn’t do it as he said they become unstable when loading multiple products on them due to memory capacity. I chose to leave it a planter monitor as I felt that was most important to not have issues with.

Good luck.
