Subject: Is a calorie really a calorie?

Pittsburg, Kansas

If you put it a machine that burns it, I believe it is. But when you eat it, are all calories the same? I think not. Here is a guy that tells why in four different ways. And why we have been led to believe a calorie is a calorie.

He says it is not how much you eat, but what your body does with what you eat. Dr Robert Lustig. 14 minutes long.

I think he might be right.

Bonus: Like him or hate him, think he is genius or a hack, here is one for people who are gluten sensitive.
