The other thing to consider is that people eating the SAD (Standard American Diet) of highly processed foods are getting boatloads of salt in those foods.
Even soft drinks are loaded with salt.
When a person starts to eat clean single ingredient whole foods and goes to a low carb/KETO way of eating, the only salt comes from adding it yourself.
