Have you checked your implement switch or jumper? Temporarily using a jumper would be a good test.

Also while testing be certain that the target rate is not zero, auto swath is not active and the switch diagnostics to show if the system is reacting to the Master and Section switches. Any one of these might explain your situation.

You mention checking a gray connector. There is a gray 2 pin connector that supplies power to the strip till module. The Red wire needs to be 12V when tested against the black wire which should be ground. Test between those wires and not just Red to chassis ground. The shaft sensor should come from another Deutsch connector on the module out to the shaft sensor. There could be a problem with the sensor and/or the wiring at that point.
