How long did your old one last? There is another HGSI sensor that I looked into using but didn't end up needing to change the angle sensor. It is a more expensive model but there are supposed to be no contacts to wear out. The only were point is the sensor body itself.

We have a number of units using the Penney & Giles sensors. First ones were installed in spring of 2011 and replaced about 10 years later. Looking back this was also installed in the fall of 2011.
