Chilliwack BC | I agree Ed. 25 years ago there was enough of a haze from the smog you couldn’t clearly see the mountains a mile away. BC had a vehicle emissions testing program that was required for insurance. Eventually such a small percentage of older vehicles were failing the emissions test they were able to abandon the program almost 10 years ago. Now, we have no vehicle emissions testing, the population has doubled since then and our air is clear. The objective was reached and there’s less government overreach.
