So, once again, we who are used to clear blue skies are getting a taste of what the folks in LA used to endure before Governor Governor Reagan signed the the law authorizing the CARB in 1967. Ten years later, Jimmy Buffet released his hit, Come Monday that was still lamenting having spent four lonely days in a brown LA haze. In the years since the song's release, the air quality in LA has improved though. I guess we have to endure the wildfire smoke but California seems to prove that we can lessen the man made stuff, which is a good and healthy thing, I think.



Please spare us the self righteous diatribe.

Califoria COULD control wildfires and forest fires with better vegetation management and less restrictive firefighting rules.

Clean air would be nice. It doesn't have to be this way.

Canada, they do have an enormous problem on their hands with all the dead trees.
