Why do you think the world cheers when the usa imposes more restrictive policies. They aren't cheering out of respect for us or love for the environment, they are cheering because the most favored got knocked down a peg or two. They hate us. Instead of lifting everyone by everybody doing what they do best and trading as such, let's hamstring the best. I think if china would just play by a moral set of rules, they would prosper much more than if they cheat and destroy their best trade partner. The leaders are going for king of the world instead of peace on earth and joy. The usa needs to shape up in that regard as well. We have strayed a bit from the 'everybody deserves basic rights and freedoms' reasons for wielding the big stick.
