The basic insurance required by Iowa is inadequate in today's inflationary world.  Wreck a new car and $15,000 will cover about 1/3 of the cost.

I know what you're going to say, but maybe some serious enforcement might be beneficial.

Minimum Liability Coverage: 20/40/15

• $20,000 for bodily injury per person
• $40,000 for bodily injury per accident
• $15,000 for property damage per accident
