Kansas City area | Recently looked at a house that has a suspended garage floor with basement underneath. It was surprising as I hadn’t seen that before. This house has really high basement ceiling, over 10 ft. The garage is probably 24x24, so you end up with a really big space fully concrete encased. There were no support beams in the center. I’m sure I’m overthinking it, and they are plenty well engineered but it’s hard to ponder. Can a large truck safely park on these? | |
