Northern Wyoming | John, I posted about 4 months ago about being recently diagnosed type two diabetic and needing to lose weight. I had started Nutrisystem and since have lose about 23 pounds, so that is some good. But all the purchase food is gone and I'm planning to do keto. My wife is at wits end to think of ways to not be boring. ( I think she is over thinking It). But she has some questions.
Do you use the percentages that are suggested for keto. 20-30 percent protein and 60-80 percent fat of food intake. She's thinking too much protein would cause gluconeumis(sp) which would be something like using sugar again.
Also, do you limit calories to not over eat? She's thinking I'd eat too much fat and not lose weight.
