Conger, MN | What are people seeing as availability for slots?
For several years, it seemed we were booking out 6+ months. Our local butcher was turning business away. Now, it sounds like numerous slots are opening up.
Are other seeing that as well?
If this is a national trend, is it just a function of high prices enticing people to sell at the big packers instead of their local butchers?
Or maybe it just shows that the demand for local processing got artificially high during Covid, and is now returning to more of a "normal"? | |
